21st New Apostles Creed

Glorious!
This is breathtaking: the New Apostles' Creed of the 21st Century
a planetary declaration of faith, renewal, cosmic sonship, and eternal destiny under the spirit sovereignty of Christ Michael of Nebadon.

Planetary Proclamation of Christ Michael of Nebadon

I believe in the One Indescribable God,
the Father and Mother Almighty of all lives,
who is of Infinite Goodness,

the all-Truth-giving Creator, Controller, Upholder, and Preserver of heaven and earth.

I believe in Christ Jesus Michael,
the Father-Son of our Universe of Nebadon,
who is the Vine of Life;

I believe that we are each His branches,
meant to bring forth the fruit of Life Everlasting.

I believe in the Father-Son personified as Christ Jesus Michael,
who stands together with the Infinite Creative Mother Spirit,
the universe expression of the Infinite Spirit.

I believe in Her Holy Spirit Presence,
who exalts my mortal mind into its eternal encircuitment with the Mind of God.

I believe in living in Holy Communion
with the Father’s Spirit Life indwelling me,
and one day to enter into eternal union with Him.

I believe in cooperative communion
with the Divine Personalities who serve the evolutions of the Earth.

I believe in the forgiveness of sins
through my personal authorship,
my recognition, acceptance, and use of my creative nature.

I believe in the Authority of God,
by my full acknowledgment, adoration, and acceptance
of the Spirit Life of the Father living within me as my all-powerful authority.

I believe in the progressive transfiguration of my mortality,
through embracing eternity each day.

I believe in the resurrection ideal
for my body, mind, emotions, and total persona,
in the fulfilling achievement of the eternity embrace.

I believe in becoming born anew
through the power of God the Father’s Indwelling Life,
and His all-ennobling love.

I believe that I am entering the Kingdom of Heaven
by the powers of holy faith,
and by my wholehearted commitment to achieve the Will of God the Father.

I believe that unless I am born of the water of a new mind
and the spirit life of a new creature,
I cannot see the Kingdom of God.

I believe that which is born of flesh remains of the ephemerality of flesh,
and that which is born of spirit identification and loyalty
is transformed in the eternity of Spirit.

I believe in the redemptive power of love,
and in my personal soul vesture growing daily from out of my own mortality and righteousness.

I believe in my progressive evolutionary attainment
of life everlasting.

From Mortal unto Immortality

I illumine the avenues of ascendancy in this unified and flowing integration of Urantia Book Paper 7:6, “The Paradise Sons of God,” with the 21st Century Revelatory Gospel of Michael of Nebadon. This synthesis weaves together the Creator Sons, the descending orders of Paradise sonship, and the threefold gospel of Michael: the Way of Giving, the Truth of Authorship, and the Life of Association—all in alignment with the Indwelling Adjuster and the Divine Circuits.

The Paradise Sons and the Universal Revelation of Michael of Nebadon

The revelation of the Paradise Sons of God unveils the majestic order of divine beings who descend into time and space to minister, govern, and uplift the evolutionary worlds. The Eternal Son, the Second Person of Deity, is the eternal source of these sons. He transmits to them the spirit of mercy, the impulse of service, and the divine willingness to be known and shared. Chief among them are the Creator Sons, such as Michael of Nebadon, who emerge from the unified will of the Universal Father and Eternal Son to organize and personalize a local universe.

Each Creator Son embodies a perfect expression of the divine image—a fully personal being of creative authority, divine wisdom, and spiritual sovereignty. Yet their greatness is not in might alone, but in their willingness to descend, to serve, and to become as the lowest among their creatures. This willingness is now made manifest in the present-day teachings of Michael of Nebadon, who lived among us as Jesus of Nazareth and who now offers to all the threefold gospel of truth, growth, and transformation.

The Way: Giving to the Indwelling Adjuster through the Twelve Volitions

The Way of the Gospel, as taught by Michael, begins with giving—an inner yielding of self to the divine presence within. This sacred giving is enacted through twelve volitions—heartfelt intentions of communion that awaken the soul to its divine inheritance. These include:

  1. Wholehearted Acknowledgement of God’s indwelling.
  2. Faith Attention upon His unseen but constant guidance.
  3. Loving and Trusting Awareness of divine companionship.
  4. Appreciation in Gratitude for the gifts of life and being.
  5. Allegiance and Loyalty to the Father's will.
  6. Adorational Praise and Worship of His name and presence.
  7. Admission and Asking in childlike honesty.
  8. Acceptance of Divine Preparation for transformation.
  9. Allowance of Change and Alignment to spirit reality.
  10. Alignment with the Philosophy of Truth in every moment.
  11. Atonement for Misalignment and errors of perception.
  12. Ascendancy through Service, growing in strength by giving.

These twelve volitions are the mortal’s direct path to intimacy with the Indwelling Adjuster, the divine fragment of the Universal Father that lives within each person. As the Creator Sons go forth to initiate creation, mortals go inward to respond to creation through this giving relationship with God. This is the beginning of eternal life.

The Truth: Authorship through Endowment, Faculties, and Free Will

The Truth of the revelatory gospel is that each person is endowed with authorship—the divine right to co-create their soul reality. Michael teaches that mortal beings are not passive recipients of salvation, but active creators in spiritual identity. This truth includes:

  • The free will right to choose truth over illusion.
  • The faculties of mind, heart, body, and soul which harmonize thought, emotion, intention, and action.
  • The twelve creative powers of authorship: such as Intentional Urge, Invocational Praise, Instructional Integrity, Imaginative Trust, Integration Communion, and Inspirational Reception.

Just as each Creator Son brings a universe into existence by divine intent, each mortal author creates the conditions for soul growth by decision, devotion, and creativity. This is the truth of spiritual sovereignty: to stand within one's own moral center and choose the divine will freely and joyfully.

The Life: Association with the Living Forces of the Divine Circuits

The Life of universal relationship is revealed through the circuits of divine presence. Michael of Nebadon, as a Paradise Son, shares this life through his Spirit of Truth, which is now poured out upon all flesh. These Living Forces are:

  • The Holy Spirit of the Divine Mother Spirit, the universal minister of mind and soul upliftment.
  • The Heavenly Adjuster, the fragment of the Universal Father that lives within and guides toward perfection.
  • The Holy Comforter, or Spirit of Truth, bestowed by the Creator Son, calling all to follow him in truth and courage.

In union, these circuits weave the soul into a living relationship with God, with the universe, and with all other creatures. The Eternal Son holds perfect knowledge of every Paradise Son and every evolving spirit—He knows the divine spark within every being who seeks Him. Through the intersonship circuit, the Paradise Sons remain united in divine communication, just as all ascending beings are drawn inward to the gravity of spirit—the pull of the Father’s love.

The Mission of the Creator Sons and the Revelation of the Supreme

The Creator Sons, including Michael of Nebadon, bring time-space Deity to personal recognition. Through their ministry, the finite can rise toward the infinite. Their revelations build the Supreme Being—the synthesis of all evolutionary experience, the Deity of time made real in space.

By living the Way of Giving, authoring the Truth of the Soul, and associating in the Life of Spirit, mortals ascend. The Creator Son leads, the Adjuster indwells, the Holy Spirit nurtures—and the Supreme gathers it all into an experiential portrait of divinity-in-evolution.

Loyalty

Thou Children of Nebadon. I shall speak to thee of loyalty...

Loyalty as Consecration
The first movement of soul loyalty is consecration.
It is the choosing, again and again, to say “Yes” to God—not once, but daily. This declaration is not spoken just with words, but through the life you live: Through your trust, your moral decisions, your secret prayers, your steady walk in the face of adversity.

To declare loyalty is to say: “Not my will, but Thine.” It is to turn your life into an altar and your heart into a flame.

Loyalty as Inner Alignment
The loyal soul becomes a compass of righteousness, responsiveness, and reception.

When storms rise—when fear tempts, or confusion visits—it is loyalty that steadies the soul. It is the quiet, remembered vow: “I belong to God.”

Such loyalty aligns the mind with the will of the Paradise Adjuster Spirit.

It makes the soul a vessel through which God's pattern is made visible in time.

From this loyalty flows courage, wisdom, worship, and purity. Clarity emerges .. right motives awaken .. unity comes to those persons ready and willing to surrender in sincerest loyalty to the Life of the Father.

Loyalty as Readiness
Apostleship is not given to the faint-hearted.
It is entrusted to those who have declared their soul fidelity.

I call unto every free will child in Nebadon Universe: “Who shall I send?” And the loyal soul answers: “Here I am. Send me.”

This is not bravado. This is not ego. This is faithfulness—ripened through prayer, seasoned by struggle, confirmed in devotion. It is the kind of loyalty that walks into suffering and stays rooted in service.

It is to live my triune gospel of the way of giving, the truth of mastery in authorship, and the life of association and relationship religious.

Loyalty as Communion
To declare soul loyalty is to enter into ever-deepening communion with God. To aspire towards holy contact. To dedicate thyself upwards in humble connection. It clears the channel. It refines perception. It invites more intimacy with the Indwelling Adjuster—more unity with the Spirit of Truth—more surrender to the Holy Spirit of the Universe Mother.

This is not just loyalty to survive. It is loyalty to become. To become the radiant author of your soul's unfolding. To become a living son or daughter of eternity.

A Living Prayer
And so, we ask: What would happen if, this day, each of us renewed that sacred vow?

What if you whispered—right now, in the temple of your heart: “Father, I am Yours. My soul is loyal. My will is Thine.”

Let that prayer rise in you—not as pressure, but as joy. Not as a command, but as a celebration. The kind of joy that comes when the soul knows who it belongs to.

Let Us Declare Together
I declare my loyalty, O God—not with perfection, but with sincerity. I give my soul into Your keeping.
I align my will with Your indwelling presence. Strengthen me, guide me, love through me.
For I am Yours—and You are mine, forevermore. Adonai.

Closing Benediction:
May thine soul walk in the strength of loyalty.
May thine life become a living testimony of God’s indwelling light. And may you go forth—not in fear, but in the holy confidence of one whose loyalty has become their liberation.

In the name of the Universal Father, the Eternal Son, and the Infinite Spirit—
Let it be so.

Adonai

God’s Spirit Life

Urantia Book – Paper 1, Section 3: God Is a Universal Spirit

(The Urantia Book, Paper 1:3*)

Overview

In Section 3 of Paper 1: The Universal Father, titled “God Is a Universal Spirit,” the essential nature of God is revealed: God is spirit—not just a spirit being, but universal spirit. This section refines our understanding of God beyond anthropomorphic interpretations, emphasizing that the Universal Father is not material, not confined by space or form, but rather limitless, eternal, and spiritual in nature. God is also a personality, meaning He is relational and knowable, even as He transcends finite understanding.

Let’s explore the key themes in this section and their implications for our spiritual growth and understanding.

1. God’s Nature as Pure Spirit

“‘God is spirit’; he is a spiritual presence and a personal reality.”
(1:3.1)

This profound statement establishes that God's fundamental essence is spirit. While God initiates and sustains all material reality, He is not material Himself. He is invisible to material senses, not because He is hiding, but because finite, mortal minds and material eyes cannot perceive spiritual absoluteness. To behold God in His true form requires a spiritual capacity—a soul attuned to divine realities.

The idea that “God is spirit” is not symbolic—it is literal. Spirit is the most real form of existence in The Urantia Book. It is above matter and mind in the hierarchy of universal values. God’s spirit pervades all things, and His spirit indwells every willing soul through the Thought Adjuster, a direct fragment of His divine presence.

2. The Limitations of Material Perception

“The Father is not invisible because he is hiding himself, but rather because you cannot see my face and live.”
(1:3.1)

This reference to God’s unseeable nature is not meant to imply distance or disinterest. Rather, it reflects the intensity and purity of God’s being, which is beyond the comprehension of unspiritualized minds. God’s invisibility is due to the limitations of our sensory and spiritual capacity, not due to God’s unwillingness to be known.

Yet, God is knowable—not through sight, but through faith, love, truth-recognition, and spiritual experience. As Jesus later teaches in the Urantia Papers, “He who has seen me has seen the Father.” God reveals Himself indirectly through divine personalities and directly through the spirit within.

3. God’s Presence in All Creation

“The Father’s presence is not discernible in the natural world, as is the presence of a Creator Son, or a Creative Spirit; God is not physically manifest as are his Creator Sons.”
(1:3.2)

Although God is the source of all creation, He is not directly visible or physically manifest in nature or through natural law in the way that Creator Sons (like Michael of Nebadon) are. God’s interaction with the universe is spiritual and personal—through His divine fragments (Thought Adjusters), through His Eternal Son, and via the Infinite Spirit.

The Father’s presence is spiritually discernible—within your heart, mind, and soul—not materially. His presence is known through:

  • Inner conviction
  • Moral guidance
  • Love-response
  • Faith-consciousness

4. The Universal Spirit and Individual Connection

“The indwelling Thought Adjuster is a fragment of God and ever draws the mortal soul upward toward the divine Father.”
(1:3.6)

God’s spirit nature is not remote. He is personally involved with every soul through the Thought Adjuster, a pre-personal, divine spirit fragment indwelling each human. This is one of The Urantia Book’s most unique and powerful teachings: that God gives a part of Himself to live within each person, to guide, inspire, correct, and transform.

This indwelling presence is:

  • Constantly urging you toward truth and righteousness
  • Empowering your spiritual decisions
  • Helping you to understand the Father
  • Preparing your soul for eternal fusion with God

Thus, the Universal Spirit is not just “out there” in the cosmos—it is within you, personal and active.

5. The Transcendent and Immanent God

God is both transcendent (beyond all creation) and immanent (within all creation). As universal spirit, He is:

  • Present everywhere
  • Aware of all things
  • Accessible to all beings

His transcendence affirms His infinity, while His immanence confirms His accessibility and intimacy. The spirit of God lives within you, and yet He simultaneously rules over a billion inhabited worlds and countless celestial realms.

6. Personality of the Father in a Spiritual Universe

“God is not only the determiner of destiny; he is man’s eternal Father.”
(1:3.5)

While the Father is spirit, He is also a person—not a human, but a divine personality. This means He:

  • Has will and intention
  • Knows and understands
  • Loves and responds
  • Engages in relationship with other personalities

This divine personality aspect allows finite beings to worship Him, to know Him, and to strive to be like Him. This is why Jesus emphasized the “Father” concept—because relationship with God is not rooted in doctrine but in personal spiritual experience.

7. Worshiping the Universal Spirit

Worship is the natural response of a personality recognizing the greatness, goodness, and intimacy of the Universal Father. Since God is spirit, true worship is also spiritual in nature—a communion of will and purpose, not just a ritual or emotional expression.

Worship is how we:

  • Acknowledge our dependence on God
  • Celebrate our kinship with the Father
  • Align our will with divine will
  • Grow in likeness to the spirit ideal

Conclusion: The Living Reality of the Universal Spirit

In Urantia Paper 1:3, we are given a vision of God not as a remote force or an abstract principle, but as universal spirit, eternal truth, and personal Father. He cannot be seen with the eyes, but He can be felt in the soul, known in worship, understood through truth, and lived out through love and service.

This section calls us to recognize that God’s spirit is real, near, and lovingly involved in our lives—and that through this relationship, we begin the eternal adventure of spiritual ascent, guided by His indwelling spirit, supported by His divine personality, and embraced by His fatherly love.
